Wow “Myths of Immortality” is full of so much action, character development, hope, sacrifice and love. Hope Nicholas travels to the Underworld for answers on how to break her curse. As we know of the Underworld it isn’t easy for a mortal to visit let along escape its clutches. Raye Wagner writes many nail biting experiences for Hope during her visiting in the Underworld. Xan, Athan and Dahlia follow Hope to the Underworld to help her and experience some hair rising experiences themselves.I really enjoyed getting to know all the characters more deeply and getting to know the newer characters Xan and Dahlia better. As you get to know Xan better you realize how much he cares for Hope and many fans become #teamXan. Like the other books in the series the new characters are placed well in the storyline and do a great job making life difficult for the main characters. I enjoyed reading about some of the underworld characters such as Hades, Persephone, and Thanatos. They add so much to the storyline. I loved reading the book in duo point of view between Hope and Athan. You gain more aspects and understanding of the story. It helps to get both views of how they care for each other and the storyline.
I highly recommend “Myths of Immortality” by Raye Wagner. It’s a wonderful edition to the story of Hope, the Sphinx and her journey to break her curse. I highly anticipate the next chapter.

Myths of Immortality The Sphinx Book 3 eBook Raye Wagner Reviews
Hope fine herself in a solo journey into the Underworld to look for answers, while her friends embark on a mission to bring her back. Each group faces hurdles to their journey and find new truths. This book showed that predjudice can be overcome. Love and loyalty earned, and that gods ALWAYS have an agenda.
As the story progresses on it just keeps getting better. Hope is starting to become a stronger character and is learning more and more about herself. She struggles in this book with certain problems she personally needs to work on, but in the end she gets closer and closer to breaking the curse.
One of the things I love about this series is how it skews from traditional mythology, the characters even joke about how the history books are always getting it wrong. The portion in the underworld was absolutely fascinating and well worth the read. If you are a fan of ya books with danger, verbal and physical sparring and a healthy dose of love triangle then check this series out!
The book was good like the first two. well written and insightful and really allowed you to get picture the story in your mind. This one was in Hope and Athan's perspective and switched nearly every chapter. Its was annoying and often times I would skip some chapters to read Hope's story then go back to Athan's . the chapters would stop at cliffhangers. Because of this I am debating on buying any further books from this series. I would love to know what happens but I cant enjoy the story having to jump around between perspectives so much.
I've enjoyed the story so far. Well written with an interesting story line. My only complaint is that the heroine is often too stupid for her supposed intelligence level. She repeats the same to very similar logic / common sense errors which can be frustrating to read through. Otherwise a nice read, fairly reasonable price even if the books are a bit shorter than I like. Make the books a little longer for the cost and the people in it a bit brighter and this would easily be be 5 stars.
I'm usually disappointed with book sequels, but this series just keeps getting better! There are plenty of books with love triangles in it, but this has so much more and gives you a great depth of story here, tons of action, a real nail biter! It is not without its love interests though, but it's clean, I would recommend it to teens. I also love the main character, she's strong and not annoying, which is s huge plus for me! Seriously Raye Wagner, I am dying for the next book, why must we wait? LOL!
It's always a treat to see a newer author get stronger with each book, and even more so when you have fallen in love with the series. The Sphinx books combine a few of my favorite myths, and there are plenty of monsters, demigods, immortals and even some humans to keep you entertained. Beyond that, there are themes of redemption and hope, coming of age and learning what it really means to be loyal. There's also some romance so no one will be left out. Well SOMEONE is, but I am not a spoil sport so I won't tell. I am happy to see this is not the end of the story, or at least with that ending it better not be (I'm glaring at you Ms. Wagner) If you're a fan of the Covenant books, but tired of people using the same old storyline, I think you'll be really impressed with this series. Or if you just enjoy mythology infused ya fiction in general.
